Letter to Co-op

Game Over Inc. would like to thank The Riverbay Fund for another amazing summer in Co-Op City. We were able to service over 300 children and teach them the fundamentals, skills, and mental toughness it takes to be a basketball player.

We were able to take “Street Basketball” to another level by breaking glass ceilings. During halftime at the 11 and under game this summer we had one of our participants/classical trained pianist play a piece. This moment made history and had many people in tears.

Alongside the historic halftime show, we were also able to teach our participants about computer coding through our Buckets N’ Bytes program. Buckets N’ Bytes helps bridge the gap between performing well on the court and off the court. Our participants were taught how to code their own games, effectively communicate, team build, and problem solve.

All of these wouldn’t have been possible without the help of our amazing staff. Thank you for helping us spread the Game Over philosophy to each participant and dedication.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you during the school year and next summer!

Jackie Robinson Museum

The Game Over family has teamed up with the Jackie Robinson Museum for Game Over Day on Sunday, August 28th. Our children learned the legacy and importance of Jackie Robinson in sports and why he is labeled a legend.
